Early first week sales projections have already surfaced for J. Cole’s new album 4 Your Eyez Only, and they’re big.
The LP, which was released Dec. 9 2016, is forecast to move between 450,000 and 50,000 copies in its first week, reports Hits Daily Double. According to the site the album had a “blockbuster” number of pre-orders, which is helping sales soar. With these numbers, the album should easily score the top spot on next week’s Billboard 200.
Cole’s last album, 2014 Forest Hills Drive, debuted at the top spot with 375,000 units sold (before eventually going 2x platinum). His first album, Cole World, started at No. 1 with 212,000 units sold. Then, his second project, Born Sinner, debuted at No. 2 with 297,000 units before moving to No. 3 in its third week.
